Description
Bluetooth speaker built with wood reclaimed from a shipping pallet dumped by Mount Pleasant Park in Sheffield.
This was my first experiment with bringing the beauty of Bluetooth to reclaimed wood. The pallet wood was re-seasoned for six months before being planed, sanded and glued to form a block. I then hollowed out the inside for the speakers and electronics, made a nice faceplate and attached the back panel with magnets.
It looks fab – I’m well impressed with the dignity this once abandoned and neglected wood has, and it sounds great too!
This inspired me to go on and make more uniquely quirky and all different Bluetooth speakers.
