We brewed this hybrid dark ale to celebrate the life and work of Leighton Rhett Radford “Darcus” Howe (26-02-1943 – 01-04-2017)
Trinidad born British broadcaster, writer and racial justice campaigner.
This is an indulgent dark ale drawing inspiration from Northern British Nut Brown Ale, London Porter and rich Carribean Dark Stouts. Roasted Malts provide hints of Coffee and Chocolate, sweet, bold invigorating and beautifully complex, leaving a slightly tart dry finish.
